What is Alerts360?

Alerts360 is a simple and affordable web based SMS messaging system that Indian businesses can use to communicate with their customers, employees, suppliers and partners using SMS.

Who can use Alerts360?

Alerts360 can be used by any organization or person that needs to communicate with a group of people using SMS.

This means any business, agent, group, non profit or voluntary organization, member community and government organization can use and benefit from Alerts360.

Billing and Subscription



How much does it cost?

Alerts360 offers the most affordable SMS messaging in India.

Alerts360 customers pay a monthly subscription fee to use its services. Alerts360 offers various packages to meet the needs of the customers.

The price starts from just 100Rs per month for the economy package. Take a look at the pricing & packages page for more information.

Can I try Alerts360 out for free?

Customers can try out Alerts360 for free by signing up for a 30 day free trial account.

How do I pay?

Alerts360 automatically charges monthly subscription payments to the payment option provided by the subscriber while signing up for the service. We accept credit/debit cards and online debit from your bank accounts.

Signing up



How do I sign up?

You can sign up for an Alerts360 account on our website or by emailing customer support at support@alerts360.com

Contact Management



How do I add contacts?

You can add contacts individually by using the ‘Create New Contact’ link in the Contacts section or in the Quick links section on the left pane. You can also add contacts individually using the Quick add feature on the left pane.

You can add multiple contacts using bulk add feature using the ‘Import List’ link in the contact section.

How can I import bulk contacts?

You can import bulk contacts from an excel spread sheet by using the ‘Import List’ link in the contact section.

How can I organize contacts into different groups?

You can create groups using the ‘Create New Group’ link in the Groups section or in the Quick links section on the left pane. You can assign appropriate type to the group such as Customers, Employees etc.

You can then assign one or more groups to each contact to help you organize them.

Sending SMS Alerts/Messages



How I can Send SMS Messages?

You can send SMS messages using ‘Create SMS Alert’ link in the Alerts section on in the Left pane.

You can type the message and pick the list of contacts to send the message to and schedule when you want the message sent (right now or at a later time).

How long can this SMS message be?

It can be of any length. If it is longer than 140 characters it will be sent in multiple messages.

How can I see all the SMS Messages I sent?

You can manage the SMS messages just as you manage emails. You can do this by clicking on the Alerts tab. You can see all the SMS messages you sent in the Outbox section.

Can I get my own Sender ID?

You can get your own free sender ID for professional package and above.

Receiving SMS Messages



What is an SMS Inbox?

In addition to sending SMS messages you can also receive incoming SMS messages by getting a shared Alerts360 keyword for the short code 560701. All the incoming messages are managed from the SMS Inbox.

This feature is not available for Basic and Economy plans.

Campaign Management



What is a keyword?

You can use Alerts360 keywords to receive incoming SMS messages sent to the short code 560701. You can also use them to receive responses to SMS campaigns you run such as text response, survey or contest.

How can I create SMS Campaigns?

You can create SMS campaigns by using the ‘Create New Campaign’ link in the Campaigns section or on the left pane.

Alerts360 makes it very simple to create powerful SMS campaigns just in minutes. You can create text response campaigns, surveys/polls, quizzes/contests and information lookup campaigns. For each of these campaigns you select and use a shared Alerts360 keyword for the short code 560701.

This feature is not available for Basic and Economy plans.

How do I manage these SMS campaigns?

Once you create these campaigns and promote them to you customers and public, you can manage the results of the campaign from the campaign dashboards. You can access the campaign dashboards by click on the Campaigns tab and clicking on the name of the campaign. SMS Dashboard provides you real time data on your campaigns as the results start coming in.

User Management



What is a user?

User is any employee or member of your organization that has access to your Alerts360 account. They are not to be confused with contacts which are people that you use Alerts360 to communicate with.

What is an admin user?

The first person in your organization to sign up at Alerts360 becomes an admin user. During sign up admin user enters basic info on you organization. Admin user can create/purchase user licenses and upgrade pricing plans. If needed admin user can assign another user admin user privileges after creating the user.
